Hour of AI (CODE)

Miami-Dade County Public Schools will be celebrating the Hour of AI during the week of December 9-13. As part of this initiative, all 6th through 12th grade students across the district will engage in a one-hour lesson in partnership with Code.org. This lesson focuses on the Ethical Use of AI, including identifying biases and understanding the importance of providing and reviewing non-biased, accurate data.

MAST Academy will participate in this celebration on Monday, December 9th, at 9:10 AM. While the district has requested participation from all non-core courses, all teachers are welcome to join in facilitating this activity.
