We're a licensed Duke of Edinburgh Award Center!
We are happy to announce that MAST Academy is now a licensed Duke of Edinburgh Award center and that we will be starting our first Bronze cohort of award participants in just a few weeks. We are excited to be the only school in Miami-Dade County and one of only 33 locations in the United States licensed as an awards center.

We are happy to announce that MAST Academy is now a licensed Duke of Edinburgh Award center and that we will be starting our first Bronze cohort of award participants in just a few weeks. We are excited to be the only school in Miami-Dade County and one of only 33 locations in the United States licensed as an awards center.
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a voluntary, non-competitive and flexible program of cultural and adventurous activities for all young people aged between 14 and 25 years old, whatever their background or ability. You can find more information on the Duke of Edinburgh award at https://usaward.org. While there is a cost associated with participation in this program, assistance is available, and no student will be denied the opportunity to participate due to the cost.
On Wednesday, January 25, 2023 we will be hosting a zoom meeting at 5:00 PM to provide parents and families with more information on the Duke of Edinburgh program. This will be followed by an in-person meeting on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 3:15 PM in the school cafeteria. The in-person meeting will be geared towards students, but parents are welcome to attend. We will likely have representatives from the United States' Duke of Edinburgh National Office in attendance at both the Zoom meeting on Wednesday and the in-person meeting on Thursday.
