Academic WorldQuest
Alexander Kravitz, Gabriella Lopez, Rashmi Karthak, and Alex Guisto competed in the Academic WorldQuest event at FIU on Saturday. Out of the 19 teams that competed, MAST Academy won 3rd place. MAST Academy's team was made up of only 9th grade students. Most of the other teams were composed of 11th and 12th graders. The students won a tour of Southern Command, and they will meet officials from the Department of Defense and the U.S. State Department on their tour.
